Cousine Island
Cousin's close neighbour, Cousine, is situated approximately 6km off the west coast of Praslin. Like Cousin, Cousine is also a private nature reserve and home to five of the Seychelles endimic birds such as the Seychelles magpie robin and the Seychelles warbler.
Cousine was once a coconut plantation, but is now home to a superb and very expensive holiday resort. Famous people like Paul McCartney spent their holidays there (just 2 weeks before I arrived!).

This Seychelles skink has a millipeed segment around his neck. Skinks eat dead millipeeds and get often stuck in their ring-shaped segments. I know what you ate last evening!!! |
